Beste supporters,

Gisteren reed ik de GP Affligem.
Vanaf het begin van de wedstrijd werd er veel aangevallen, zo probeerde ik vanaf het begin mee te zijn met de vroege vlucht om mijn benen te testen voor volgend weekend (BK tijdrijden). Ik geraakte niet in de vroege vlucht en probeerde er met 2naartoe te gaan maar ik geraakte er samen met mijn metgezel niet meer bij.
Heel de koers werd gecontroleerd en het beloofde een massaspurt te worden. De vroege vlucht werd in de laatste 10km ingelopen. In een nerveuze laatste 3km probeerde ik mij vanvoor te houden waardoor ik de laatste 300m perfect rechts kon blijven en doorsputen, maar jammer genoeg reed er een renner helemaal mij aan de nadars en kon ik niet doorspurten. Ik werd nog mooi 25e op 170 renners.
