Van dinsdag 2 augustus tot zondag 7augustus ben ik van start gegaan in de Ronde Van Namen .
Een heel zware ronde als 1e jaars maar toch een hele mooie ervaring geweest ! Er moesten 4ritten worden afgelegd en een individuele tijdrit !

 

Rit 1 : 152km . Was starten met de hemelsluizen open ( wat niet men sterkste vak is ) in het begin had ik het moeilijk door het achteraan te starten met de regen en de bochtige stukken in het begin .. maar ik kwam erdoor en kon weer vooraan aansluiten ! In de laatste kilometers reden er 15 renners weg en ik kon in het peleton nog naar een 10e plaats spurten , dat goed was voor een 25e algemene plaats !

 

Rit 2 : 146km . Het was een iets zwaardere rit , er waren koplopers met een grote voorsprong van 3minuten maar er werd goed gecontroleerd en ikzelf deed ook op een lastige helling een ferm kopwerk om de afstand te laten slinken en de kopgroep werd gegrepen . ikzelf bolde binnen als 54e op dezelfde tijd

 

Rit 3 : 151km . Een lange rit met een grof profiel was vet vandaag , een paar venijnige hellingen zorgde voor een grote verbrokkeling ik het peleton , maar jammer genoeg op 20km van het einde kwam iedereen terug uit de achtergrond .. Opnieuw gingen een paar renners uit de groep ervandoor en wij moesten proberen op ze terug te halen langs de samber maar het was te laat jammer genoeg . ik werd wel mooi 39e nog ! alles op de tijdrit dus !!

 

Rit(tijdrit) 4 : 13km . Een lastige tijdrit met 2 kleine stukken bergop zorgden ervoor dat het een zware tijdrit ging worden ! ik probeerde alles zo goed mogelijk uit te voeren en werd heel mooi 16e !

 

Rit 5 : 138km .De laatste rit . Na 1km besloot ik mee te gaan met de vroege vlucht . We kleurden de wedstrijd met 8rennerd vanvoor en kregen we een maximum voorsprong van 1minuut 30seconden op het peleton die alles onder controle hadden ! Na een goeie 100km werden we gegrepen Door het peleton . Crelan-Vastgoedservice besloot er een harde finale van te maken en reed fors door , net op dat moment kreeg ik het eventjes moeilijk om het tempo te kunnen volgen maar ik bleef hangen en kon mij opnieuw naar voor werken ! op de achterlant van de citadel van namen gingen er 3 renners vandoor onder meer ploegmaat benjamin en werd mooi 2e! Ik bolde binnen als 50e en werd 26e in het eindklassement !

 

Als 1e jaars belofte is dit een hele mooie ervaring en ben heel tevreden met de doelen die ik gemaakt heb deze ronde !
