Eergisteren Stond ik aan de start van het kampioenschap van West-Vlaanderen te Ledegem
De wedstrijd werd hard gemaakt door de stevige wind die er stond. Na 2 van de 14 af te leggen ronden ontstond er een kopgroep van 30renners. Maar op 6ronden van het einde werd dat gereduceerd tot 11renners, waaronder nog 3 ploegmaten van mij. Op 2 ronden van het einde viel ik aan en kreeg ik 4 metgezellen mee! Het zag er beter en beter naar uit dat wij om de provinciale titel gingen moeten strijden. In de laatste ronde waren er veel aanvallen waarop ik veel counterde, en zelf eens aanviel. Ik ging aan op 700m van de finish en kreeg 1renner mee, en nog eens overnam op 500m waardoor ik in een ideale positie zat! Op 200m van de finish zet ik aan en enkel de laatste 100m ging ploegmaat Jordi Warlop er ideaal uitkomen om de titel te pakken ! Ik werd heel mooi 2e en nam het zilver!

Gisteren stond ik dan alweer aan de start van het Belgisch Kampioenschap tijdrijden te Anzegem-Vichte.
Het parcours was 28,8km lang, verdeeld over 2 ronden.
Na mijn eerste ronde had ik een tussentijd die goed was voor een 6e plaats, wat in mijn verwachtingen zat (top10)
, na het goed onderhouden van mijn laatste ronde begon het te regenen waardoor ik mijn zelfvertrouwen iets wat verloor inde bochten en dat zo veel tijd kostte voormij… maar ik strandde toch op een mooie 10e plaats en mijn eerste top 10 plaats op een Belgisch Kampioenschap!
