Beste supporters,

Vorige donderdag nam ik deel aan het Provenciaal Kampioenschap te Ruddervoorde.
We moesten een afstand afleggen van 24km in 3 ronden van 8km.
Ik werd er heel mooi 2e op 13seconden van de winnaar Stan Dewulf.
Na een minder gevoel in de tijdrit zelf ben ik blij met dit resultaat.

Vorige zaterdag stond ik aan de start van Luik-Bastenken-Luik, een wedstrijd over 177km met daarin 8 bekende hellingen in het parcours. Op de Wanne begon het hevig te regenen waardoor de wedstrijd extra zwaar werd.
Na de La redoute brak de wedstrijd open waardoor een groep van om en bij de 40 renners overbleven.
Wij reden met onze groep naar de volgende helling, de La roche aux faucons. Op deze helling ging ik goed vooruit maar op 100m van de top moest ik net de rollen lossen waardoor ik heel alleen boven kwam.
Van deze helling reed ik tot aan de Saint-Nicolas alleen en bovenaan de Côte d’Ans werd ik gegrepen door een achtervolgend groepje. In de spurt op de piste spurtte ik naar een 5e plaats van mijn groepje en werd ik 34e van de 180 renners. Ik ben heel tevreden met dit resultaat en heb veel bijgeleerd naar de verdere koersen toe!
