Zaterdag 3deptember stond ik aan de start van de moeren classic te adinkerke !

In de grote ronde van 97km hebben wij geprobeerd om samen een waaier te vormen door de matige wind maar in het begin lukte het moeizaam door de te matige wind .

Maar na 70km konden wij toch met een tamelijk kleine groep van ongeveer 40 renners naar de 5 plaatselijke ronden toegaan .

 

Direct in de moeren werd er stevig doorgereden en vielen er elke ronde een par renners af zodat we de laatste 2 ronden met een man of 25 overbleven ! de laatste ronde ging de Beker van Belgie leider Jochen Deweer in de aanval naar de 8koplopers en ik sloeg mijn wagonnetje bij hem aan en konden net de kloof dichten met 4 op de koplopers op de meet .

 

Bij mij zat er niets meer op van een spurt maar werd heel mooi 11e na een zware wedstrijd !

 

Gisteren 5 september werd er in wakken een avondcriterium verreden ! Wij moesten 30 ronden afleggen over een ronde van 2,4km met slechte wegen !

 

Ik probeerde mijn werk te doen in de groep en viel af en toe eens aan maar een rol in de wedstrijd was er niet . Ik werd nog 24e !
