Verslag 3bergenprijs

op 16 april stond de 3bergenprijs op het programma . De start was in stasegem om 13u .

 

Direct na de start was het tempo heel hoog en al snel werdt er na 20km een groep van 50 renners gevormd maar even later werdt de groep teniet gedaan en werd het terug een peleton , vanaf oudenaarde ging het in de  heuvelzone .

 

De kaperij was de eerste  berg en even later moest de 2e  berg betwist worden , de kanarieberg . Ervoor werdt er hevig doorgereden om een goede plaats te vestigen en daar ben ik ook in geslaagd , maar jammer genoeg is er geen schifting gebeurd .Na de steenbeekdries en de mariaborrestraat moest de hoogweg en de hotondt betwist worden maar daar werd er ook geen beslissing gevallen . Dan volgde de côte de trieu en daar kwam ik als 1 van de eerste boven en probeerden we dan door te trekken maar het peleton wou niet breken .

 

Na kerkhove was er een regenbui voorzien voor ons , daardoor werd de wedstrijd nog zwaarder . We moesten nog 3plaatselijke ronden rijden van 12km in Stasegem . Na een paar keer aan te vallen en iets te proberen reden er 4renners weg en die reden voor de overwinning . Ikzelf kon een goede plaats behalen in de spurt en reed naar een 29ste plaats van bijna 190 renners ! image image
